Pretreat The Stain

It can be tempting just to toss that stinky jersey into the laundry, but if you want to get stains out you need to pretreat them before they set. Use a laundry stain remover to spray or apply to the stain and allow it to set for at least 10 minutes. Then toss it in the laundry and wash it.

Soak It

Sometimes a stain can be easier to remove if it has been soaked before it is washed. You may choose to pretreat the stain before you soak it soak it is a laundry booster that has the ability to remove stains.
Check Before You Dry

Before you put, the treated and washed jersey into the dryer make sure the stain is gone. If the jersey is dried with the stain still on it, it could be harder to remove it. Heat can make a stain and that is the last thing you want to happen. If the stain does not come out during the first wash, treat it and wash it again.

Football jerseys are always going to get dirty and stained, but they don’t have to stay that way. By treating the stain and removing it properly, you can remove them. The next time you have a dirty football jersey to wash remember to check it for stains.
