Delane Fitzgerald - Why It Is Important To Know CPR

CPR is a skill everyone should learn. It can save someone life, and although it can be tricky to learn for some, it is worth the time and effort. If you want to learn CPR, you can take a CPR certification class at your local health department or community center. There are many reasons you should learn CPR.

Helping Others

You never know when you will be in a situation where CPR could come in handy. Maybe you will notice someone choking in a restaurant or maybe you will arrive at the scene of an accident to find someone not breathing. If you know CPR, you can perform it to help those people until an ambulance or another type of emergency personnel arrives.

Feeling Of Control

You never know when an accident might happen and if you know CPR you may feel less stressed and worried about the things you can control. Knowing CPR makes you feel more prepared and give you some peace of mind.

Job Requirements

Some jobs require you to be certified in CPR. Your employer may offer training, but it may only be a few times a year, and you may have to wait to start working until you are certified. Being certified will improve your chances of getting a job.

Delane Fitzgerald knows the importance of knowing CPR and keep his certification up to date. As a football coach, he likes knowing that he can help his team members if necessary.
